"Acquisition requires meaningful interaction in the target language - natural communication - in which speakers are concerned not with the form of their utterances but with the messages they are conveying and understanding". -- Stephen Krashen

"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world".--Nelson Mandela

Mission

My mission is to make life easier in the Spanish classroom for teachers by providing Spanish grammar, Spanish translations, strategies, technology tips, events on language and more.  My high school students can locate their homework assignments here, as well as Spanish lessons for review.  Free Spanish lessons will be posted for the teachers that have English Language Learners in their classrooms that are native Spanish speakers.  Recognizing the fact that it is often difficult to locate practical strategies, methods,  lessons, and websites for the Spanish classroom, I will share some that I have tested and found to be true lifesavers for you.  We must advance our professional expertise in language education, provide connections between research and practice, provide accessible high quality instruction, lead by example to instill respect for multiculturalism, diversity and multilingualism, respect the language rights of others, and cooperate for the common good within a diverse, inclusive and culturally sensitive global community.  Finally, we must always attempt to provide quality instruction which incorporates communication, connections, comparisons, communities and cultures in the Spanish classroom.
